A world in color
The story of Contecolor began 50 years ago. Like many Italian companies, our business began as a small paint workshop. In 1971, the “Bottega del Sig. Conte” was opened to meet the needs of local customers, mainly body shops and private individuals.
Over the years, the company grew and broadened its horizons, deciding in the 1990s to start its own production of paints for plastic, metal and glass.
In the early 2000s, 96% of the paints sold by the company were already produced in-house.
Today the company develops paints that comply with strict environmental regulations, producing water-based and solvent-based paints.

We offer a complete service, from the production start-up phase to the final application phase at the customer’s premises.
Half a century of experience is a guarantee of the high problem-solving ability of our staff: our specialised technicians support the customer in every step, from analysis and consultancy to production, guaranteeing compliance with the highest aesthetic and performance standards.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Contecolor has an efficient research and development laboratory that works alongside the customer to obtain the desired result.
Our technicians will develop innovative, custom-made products by constantly dialoguing and exchanging ideas with the customer, in order to provide paints with excellent aesthetic and functional performance.
